Yay, you're still here! I haven't been able to visit blogs in forever!!! But I'm glad to see you're still around and sharing about your family. I get comments all the time about "still" nursing and Ethan is only 4 months! (Though he does now bite and it hurts even though he's toothless...) My family loves to ask why he's not getting rice cereal yet or why I'm still nursing. Ugh. I wish people would mind their own business.

BTW great way of comparing the teeth issue. ;)

Too funny. My sil nursed my nephew until he was 2 years old! Yeah we all thought it was a little weird, but it was their decision, not ours and we didn't say anything rude to them or tell complete strangers. It was their business. The problem with her was that at 2 years of age...ALL he was getting was her milk and the baby food you feed your infant. Now at 3 years of age, he has graduated to blueberry muffins and juice and he doesn't know how to chew food or swallow! This kid doesn't know what to do with french fries!

I say - nurse if you wanna nurse and let mil worry about something else. (like the blow job analogy.)

Oh please use the blow job analogy with her!!!!!! I need some good entertaining news. I am all for anyone that can breastfed and have it go well. I say more power to you!!! And it is between YOU and your child. Not one thing any of us or the rest of the world says should matter!!!!

I'm cracking up. I think you should totally tell her about the blow job and teeth. hahaha. Anyhow, aren't people annoying. I didn't get too much of it until after 1 year but then people, even close friends and my family, were a little weirded out about it. Now I'm preggars with #2 and they keep asking me, "So you don't plan to do again that long with this child, right?" whatever people. lol.
